Slogan on Ancestral Shrine
The slogan from these two pictures were painted to the Ancestral Shrine of a village. The slogans can be translated to "The era is different, men and women are the same." This saying comes directly from Chairman Mao. Mao said this slogan in 1953 and used it as the publicity of the campaign of implementing the New Marriage Law in China.
